Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Philosophy

School/Division: Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences-Social Science

Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time

Description:

The Department of Philosophy seeks an adjunct instructor/adjunct assistant professor to teach an introductory course in Ethics. Teaching experience plus PhD or ABD preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching introductory course in Ethics
  
• Grading student work
  
• Maintaining office hours

Qualifications:

● MA in Philosophy

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Philosophy or ABD
  
• Previous college level philosophy teaching experience
