Brook Farm Veterinary Center is seeking to hire an Animal Care Assistant to join our team.

Candidate must be able to work weekdays and alternating Saturdays.

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.00

As an Animal Care Assistant at Brook Farm Veterinary Center, you will work with our doctors and technicians to help us provide exceptional veterinary care. Veterinary Assistants spend their time making sure our patients are comfortable and ensuring that their environment is spotlessly clean. Assistants remain friendly and flexible in the face of varying expectations from clients, doctors, and supervisors and never hesitate to help out wherever they can. Our assistants must understand both medicine and people quickly: their focus changes according to the priority of the moment, and as such they must multitask impeccably, think on their feet, and remain calm in difficult situations. 

Because of our hospital’s client-centered nature, this role requires your commitment to providing clients with the highest standard of care. Your ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment with compassion, efficiency, and flexibility is key to success in this role.
