The Echo Sonographer independently performs vascular or cardiac ultrasound procedures with a high level of competence, requiring minimal supervision of technical details. They actively participate in various patient care and technical activities essential to the Cardiovascular Lab's operations. Their responsibilities include completing cardiac echocardiograms on adult patients.Qualifications:Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.Certification in Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) through ARDMS or CCI.At least one year in the field of non-invasive cardiovascular testing or a graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and cardiovascular ultrasound procedures.Toshiba and GE echo machine experience is preferredBLS
