Job Description: Dual Hotel Chief Engineer

Salary: $90K - $100K + Bonus and Relocation Assistance

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hotel Chief Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal operation of all mechanical and electrical systems within our premier hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in hotel engineering, a comprehensive understanding of relevant technologies, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate all engineering operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, fire safety, and general maintenance.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for engineering-related emergencies, providing prompt and effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in hotel engineering or similar roles, with at least 3 years in a senior position.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or facilities management is preferred
• Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of building management systems (BMS) and other industry-specific software.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
