Job Description

Lasalle Network is partnered with a cutting-edge fin-tech company that specializes in consumer lending and they are seeking a  Compliance Officer to enhance their compliance function. In this role, you will report directly to the Compliance Manager and play a critical part in ensuring their organization adheres to all relevant Federal, State and Agency regulations related to consumer loans, marketing and more.

• Support the compliance function to ensure adherence to all applicable rules and regulations
• Oversee the Compliance Testing and Monitoring program, including program reviews, testing, documentation maintenance and updates in response to business or regulatory changes
• Conduct the Issue Management Program under senior management's guidance, addressing compliance issues within required timeframes, including risk assessments, reporting and monitoring
• Assist with regulatory audits and examinations
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure compliance
• Manage other Compliance Management Program responsibilities as assigned, including regulatory change management

• 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience in Consumer Finance and/or FinTech
• Relevant experience with Regulatory Compliance Testing and Monitoring programs
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting controls, with the ability to explain concepts to non-specialists
• Strong knowledge of consumer financial regulations, including TILA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, UDAAP, TCPA, Regulation E, ESIGN and NACHA rules
• Ability to interpret regulatory guidance and translate it into actionable tasks
• Experience in reporting and record-keeping
• Experience participating in external audits
• Strong understanding of risk assessments, key regulations and current regulatory developments; CRCM certification is a plus
