Job Description

Our team at Game Rant is looking for a talented Video Animator/ Producer  to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing ideas for original animated series content.

The role will require story boarding of scenes/ episodes that include writing, editing and voiceover skills - meaning applicants will have the ability to produce complete and consistent video content in a fast and efficient manner. The position will also require a strong and decisive knowledge of video games, the industry and the community that encompasses them.

Responsibilities : 

• Ideate and storyboard original content and series.
• Produce a set number of video projects per month.
•  Work under tight deadlines and submit videos for publication on time.
•  Report to Video Lead and implement feedback efficiently.
•  Successfully maintain a contracted freelance schedule.

Application Requirements:  

• C.V
• Please provide 2-3 samples of animated video content creation (a bonus if it is covering video games).

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements : 

• Proficient in Blender, Krita, OpenToonz, After Effects, Toon Boom, Cinema4D (or any other substitutes or equivalent programs).
• Good grasp of content ideation (Story boarding, Scripting, etc.).
• Good grasp of video editing essentials (scene flow, cutting, rendering, etc.).
• Experience with voice over and/or AI voice over and/or Sound Design.
• Knowledge of video games, gaming, latest trends is a must.

All animation styles welcome (Ex: 2D, 3D, Motion Capture, etc.)
