ABOUT US
Anthos|Home is a groundbreaking startup focused on housing vulnerable New Yorkers. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Housing Operations Supervisor to lead a team responsible for managing the lease and repairs process. This role plays a critical part in ensuring units are move-in ready and well maintained throughout tenancy.

THE ROLE
The Housing Operations Supervisor will report to the Vice President of Housing Acquisition and will oversee a team of two Housing Acquisition Repairs & Lease Specialists ensuring prompt completion of repairs and leases and plays a critical role in the housing of individuals and families with housing vouchers. In addition, the Supervisor will be the primary contact to property owners, property managers, and brokers for post-move-in repairs. The ideal candidate will have a background in real estate or housing and a passion for problem-solving.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise two Housing Acquisition Repairs & Lease Specialists.
  • Field all inquiries from the Operations department to facilitate timely lease and ARC submissions.
  • Oversee housing quality inspections and provide guidance to property providers on necessary repairs or code violations.
  • Conduct random quality assurance (QA) visits to ensure compliance with housing standards.
  • Manage post-move-in repairs by assigning tasks to the Housing Acquisition Repairs & Lease Specialists and monitoring progress to ensure timely resolution.
  • Work with the Operations team for repairs that require direct management by Anthos|Home.
  • Oversee account management to provide continuous support to property providers, fostering strong relationships and repeat business through tenant turnover.
  • Manage all post-move-in inquiries or tenant issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor of Tenant Coordination and Aftercare to support comprehensive service delivery.
  • Attend industry events as needed to represent Anthos|Home, build relationships, and engage with peers, potential partners, and industry leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Minimum of five years of experience in the housing sector or real estate.
  • Prior supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the NYC housing market and voucher system; existing relationships with property providers are a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Passion for Anthos|Home's mission and the ability to work in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to use public transportation or meet travel requirements with reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Competitive starting salary: $85,000-$88,000 (dependent on experience)
