Lighting Specialist

We are looking for a customer-focused and results-oriented individual.   This position is responsible for growing profitable sales by creating compelling value as a trusted advisor within our business segment.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist our Energy Solutions sales team in marketing energy savings lighting and lighting control solutions to our existing customer base and new commercial and industrial marketing segments on a full-time basis
• Ability to establish customer rapport and identify energy saving opportunities with lighting solutions
• Prepare and present customer solutions to satisfy business problems and service expectations 

• Assist the Energy Services sales team in managing proposals and KPIs to consistently close Energy Lighting sales
• Perform site lighting surveys, audits, utility rebates and project payback calculations (ROI) to meet the customer’s energy saving goals. 

• Maintain an active backlog of lighting surveys to ensure goals are consistently achieved
• Further develop and stay current on new lighting products and industry technologies through ongoing training and education 

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills that will solidify prospect, customer and business partner relationships
• Solid understanding of lighting projects and products (Energy Savings, ROI, Utility rebates)
• Experience with Rebate & Grant paperwork
• A positive and collaborative outlook/attitude   
• 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the Energy & Lighting industry
