Position Summary: The Local Driver is responsible for transportation of, preparing and protecting customers' household goods and other items for movement. Commercial driver's license is not needed. Safe driving record is required. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.

Priorities:

• Wrap protective material around breakable items 
• Inspect materials, products and containers at each step of the packing process 
• Transport items
• Present a neat and clean appearance and be good with customers
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, as needed

The pay rate is $20-$22 per hour. Starting pay rate will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable agreement. Dependent on the length of service, hours worked, and applicable agreements, benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and optional disability insurance, sick pay of 2.66 hours for every 80 hours worked, Vacation pay of 3.08 hours for every 80 hours worked, paid holidays (6 days annually), three personal days (prorated based on start date), bereavement pay and retirement benefits.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): The following are required to enable job holders to perform the essential functions of the job.

• Driver License in good standing
• 2+ years related work experience
