Job Description

We re now seeking a full -time Logistics/Warehouse Manager - Monday to Friday- 8am - 5pm

Job Summary:

This position directly reports to the Site Director and is required to manage the daily logistics operations. He or She is also required to maintain and instill to the employees the highest Safety conditions of his/her department and as well as the housekeeping standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
We currently have 4 Alternative Work Schedules (AWS) (4 days/10 hours) Shipping and Receiving works 5/8 and supports the other departments working 4 AWS.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage all shipping and receiving employees (7 - 10), and all other staff under this department.
• Manage and coordinate all incoming and outgoing shipments and support the 24/7 business operations.
• Manage the Logistics Coordinator on scheduling loads and customer requirements.
• Monitor and manage the organization of material inventory in all warehouse areas.
• Responsible for managing the count and communication of monthly inventory.
• Follow all work processes an work instructions relevant to specific assignments
• Escalates any potential safety or Quality concerns
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions within ERP (SAP) to ensure accurate data for operational efficiency
• Exhibit effective an proactive communications across all departments and levels
• Prepare all disciplinary paperwork, and all performance reviews and evaluation of his/her employees.
• Work with Quality Manager on all shipping releases and related quality issues including product qualification for each customer.
• Communicate with Maintenance and Procurement on all Shipping/Receiving needs such as supplies, safety, maintenance issues, etc.
• Continually work on housekeeping inside and outside the warehouse. Constant organization of raw material bales including finished goods and by-products.
• Communicate with Procurement Team and Sales Team on inventory as needed.
• Coordinate with Sales/Marketing and send samples as needed for potential shipments.
• Attend daily staff meetings and Operations meetings.
• Perform safety walks and recognize any potential hazards and initiate corrective actions.
• Investigate and record all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field with 5 years of experience or 8-10 Years of relevant work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
• Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment.
• Team Player.
• Strong management /supervisory and leadership skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus /helpful- but not required
• Able to work in the USA whit out sponsorship
