Job Summary:

The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing our companys network infrastructure. This role involves designing network solutions troubleshooting network issues and ensuring the security and efficiency of our network operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture security and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design configure and deploy scalable secure and reliable network infrastructure including LAN WAN VPN and wireless networks.
• Monitor and maintain network performance ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including connectivity problems hardware failures and security breaches.
• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls intrusion detection systems and VPNs.
• Conduct network performance tuning and capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance.
• Manage network upgrades patches and maintenance activities ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support the integration of new technologies and applications into the network.
• Document network configurations processes and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and junior IT staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in network engineering and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in network engineering with handson experience in designing and managing complex networks.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols TCP/IP BGP OSPF and network security practices.
• Experience with network hardware routers switches firewalls from vendors such as Cisco Juniper or similar.
• Proficiency in network management and monitoring tools Wireshark SolarWinds Nagios.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA CCNP or equivalent are highly desirable.
