Position Overview

As a Remote Part-Time Adjunct Faculty in Physical Science, you will deliver engaging instruction to students pursuing an Associate Degree in Firearms Technology. In this role, you'll integrate your educational background and practical experience to enhance course content and support students throughout their online learning journey. Your goal will be to create an enriching virtual learning environment that fosters academic success and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction and Support: Teach assigned courses in accordance with established guidelines. Interact with students asynchronously through discussions, instructor guidance, and assignment feedback.
Student Engagement: Provide support via email, phone, and within the Learning Management System to ensure students receive timely assistance and feedback.
Feedback and Evaluation: Grade student assignments promptly and offer constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
Classroom Atmosphere: Cultivate a positive and engaging virtual classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
Professionalism: Demonstrate strong work habits, including meeting deadlines, managing schedules effectively, coordinating resources, and respecting colleagues.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and efficient records related to student performance and course administration.
Collaboration: Work with fellow faculty members to improve the instructional environment and contribute to curriculum development as needed.
Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in Physical Science or a related field; or a Master's degree in any field with at least 18 graduate-level credits in Physical Science or a related area.
Minimum of three years of experience teaching college-level Physical Science courses in an online setting.
