Job Description

The Service Manager is responsible for communicating and maintaining standards for the restaurant. This includes cultivating an environment that inspires team members to work together and hold each other accountable. The Service Manager supports the FOH and BOH in order to create the best possible experience for all guests.  Fluent in Chinese is a huge plus

  • Experience: minimum 2 years managing at restaurant OR 3-4 years as a Captain in a fine dining restaurant, including strong beverage knowledge. 
  • Performing all other job-related duties. This position requires manual dexterity and the ability to follow oral/written instructions and procedures. To successfully perform duties, you must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Tasks May Include:

  • Cultivating a supportive, energetic, and authentic environment for guests and team members.
  • Upholding excellence and cleanliness of the dining room.
  • Maintaining kind, constructive communication with back-of-house team members.
  • Continuously providing support to all service staff, including offering feedback that helps team members grow.
  • Managing guest relations through reservation systemand through targeted outreach.
  • Be at the restaurant at least 4 times a week
  • Holding employees accountable to all standards and practices.
  • Consistently looking for opportunities to build our growing team.

The Details:

  • Compensation: 60k and above (based on experience)
