Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a full-time Software Developer to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve complex problems, particularly in the realms of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development and Integration :
• Engage in software architecture design, user interface development, and the integration of COTS and GOTS tools.
• Develop software tools that empower data scientists, transforming their methodologies into agile, accurate, data-driven decisions based on vast amounts of data.
• Support an engineering team dedicated to designing, developing, and maintaining an analytic environment.
• Agile Collaboration :
• Effectively communicate and collaborate across software and system engineering teams to develop and support leading-edge technology in a dynamic agile development environment.
• Work on both AWS unclassified and AWS classified development and production compute environments.
• AI/ML and Data Science :
• Productionize data science research capabilities, analytics, and applications, focusing on transforming these into enterprise-ready applications, including AI/ML and deep learning models with GPU.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, enabling seamless integration and interaction between software components.

Basic Qualifications:

• Educational Background : Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience
• Technical Skills :
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, and Ruby.
• Experience in developing software in Red Hat Linux environments.
• Proficiency with Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git and Jira.
• Familiarity with software/tools such as Apache NiFi, AWS Cloud environment, Java, Python, NodeJS, SQL, Hadoop, PySpark, Bash, and Linux/Unix-based OS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Technical Expertise :
• Demonstrated experience in productionizing data science research capabilities, analytics, and applications, with a focus on AI/ML and deep learning models using GPU.
• Familiarity with a range of approaches to automate deployments of software applications in cloud environments.
• Experience with software container and container orchestration technologies, including Docker and Mesos.
• Experience with COTS and open-source tools for big data storage and analytics.
• Ability to write or refactor software code for deployment to standalone compute resources and commercial cloud environments.
