Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer I to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software development principles and practices and a strong desire to grow their skills in a collaborative environment. You will work under the guidance of senior developers and contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This position is based in Tulsa, OK with a hybrid component (3 days in office, 2 days work from home).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Manager of Software Development, the Software Developer I codes and develops software applications. Works as part of a development team in the design of software applications. Conducts requirement analysis, documents technical specifications, and writes, reviews, and debugs code. Recommends product revisions or enhancements based on user feedback. Develops and maintains documentation or user manuals.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

Design and Development: Participates in the design and development of software applications. Writes clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with company and industry best practices. Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.

• Testing and Debugging: Conducts unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure software quality. Assist in the identification and resolution of software defects.

Documentation: Creates and maintains documentation for code, processes, and user manuals. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Collaboration:  Works closely with other developers, designers, and application managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participates in team meetings, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

Maintenance and Support: Provides ongoing maintenance and support for existing software applications. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues reported by users.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in software development.

Technical Skills:

• Solid Understanding of Database design principles
• Microsoft SQL Server experience
• Objected oriented languages (C# is preferred)
• Web Applications, specifically ASP.Net, both Webforms and Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• Source Control software (TFS/DevOPs, SVN, or GIT)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Building solutions to move data to and from SQL database in a variety of ways
