The Opportunity:
The incumbent will perform typical responsibilities associated with document prepping, scanning, and visual comparison between paper documents and digital images of that paper document and data entry. These include but are not limited to efficiently viewing and comparing image quality and key required data.
This is an office based position with shift timing from 2 pm - 10 pm.
What you will be doing:
Must be able to lift 35 pounds
Remove paper clips and staples
Burst multi-part forms into individual pages
Tape up small documents
Repair pages as necessary
Make any copies required
Arrange and straighten papers for proper feeding through scanner
Document order will be maintained
Insert poor document notice in front of documents that are in such poor condition that the scanned image will be of poor quality
Insert a toggle patch it indicate a photograph is the next document
Will scan pre-prepped boxes of documents**
Keep correct records of batches prepped, scanned, and image quality
Scan pages into batches for a pre-determined image count
Responsible for correct document breaks
Responsible for image quality
Maintain document order
Insert “poor document notice” behind the scanned image of a poor quality original document
Responsible for basic scanner maintenance
Must maintain established images per hour quota set for each project
Verify image quality and readability after scanning.
Keep correct records of batches verified.
If a quality issue is detected, rescan the corrected image.
Responsible for removing document break patch papers.
Responsible for returning sealed documents into envelopes and tagged as sealed
Communicate any issues with the scanner or software with staff and manager
Knowledge-based data entry including a decision-making process to determine, through investigation, that each individual field is populated with correct information retrieved from various sources
Keep correct records of batches indexed
Must maintain established images per hour quota set for each project
Leadership:
Assist the Production Manager with leading and managing onsite staff
Communicate issues with customer and production manager
Report volumes and generate daily reports
Other duties as assigned
Education and Typical Years of Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic reading and writing skills are necessary to follow written orders/instructions and to maintain records.
Special Requirements:
Must be able to key 40 wpm with less than 3% error rate.
