Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactional matters. As a Transactional Real Estate Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for handling various aspects of real estate transactions, including commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, business structuring, lending and financing, construction issues, liens, contracts, easements, development, and condominiums.
Responsibilities:
* Provide legal counsel to clients on all aspects of real estate transactions.
* Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and other transactional documents.
* Conduct due diligence reviews and title examinations.
* Advise clients on zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance issues.
* Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to ensure timely and effective completion of transactions.
* Handle real estate-related disputes and resolutions when necessary.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
* Admission to VA state bar and in good standing.
* 5+ years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on transactional matters.
* Strong knowledge of real estate law, including contract law, property law, and finance.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service.
