At Recruitz, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort, and contributing to our mission of providing excellent patient care through non-invasive imaging. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in medical sonography.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations with precision and care
• Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• Recognize normal and abnormal images, adjusting techniques as needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
• Assist in training new technicians and students
• Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and best practices

What We Are Looking For:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician
• Proficiency in various ultrasound procedures and techniques
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., vascular, cardiac, pediatric)
• Experience with 3D and 4D ultrasound imaging
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
