Description of Work:
Responsible for development, site management, and content of the organization's website. This position provides expertise in the area of web design and development for the College of Engineering. The position has responsibility for designing and developing web resources that can be maintained by College of Engineering units and providing technical support when necessary. The individual must be able to interpret user-needs and assess web application needs. He/she must also be able to analyze usability and impact of web resources, using campus web analytical environments. The position ensures delivery of creative, concise, well-tested, highly professional and functional projects using UNL's Drupal-based content management system. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Communications.

See .Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, media, communications, advertising, computer science, digital marketing or a related field and two years of experience working with web design and development; equivalent education/experience considered. Demonstrated understanding of content management systems, especially Drupal,w3c standards/the w3c validator, reporting and analytical environments and tools necessary. Demonstrated knowledge of WCAG2AA web accessibility standards and processes of quality assurance. Experience with Office 365 and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or other comparable applications essential. Must have a working knowledge of relevant computer languages including HTML , CSS , jQuery and JavaScript and familiarity with web application programming. Demonstrated ability for absorbing and organizing information and presenting it textually and graphically required. Project management experience and excellent organization and communication skills necessary.
Posted Salary: $59,000/yr. minimum
