ABOUT THE CHURCH

CBC is a diverse, nondenominational church community seeking worship leadership to provide excellent, creative, and shepherd hearted oversight to all aspects of Worship Ministry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• The Worship and Arts Director will develop worship department strategy by consulting with the Senior and Associate Pastors to ensure the Worship ministry is consistent with the vision and goals of the church,
• Management of the Worship Ministry to include leading, recruiting, and mentoring music teams, building on the existing foundation of musicians and vocalists.
• The Worship and Arts Director will manage the budget for the worship department.
• Scheduling of Sunday morning service and working closely with the Media department, recruit, and schedule musicians and vocalists.
• Weekly Rehearsal for Sunday morning, attend weekly Staff meetings.
• We are a unique church, with congregants from diverse church backgrounds. Because of the “destination” aspect of the area, many consider CBC their church while they are here seasonally. This reality allows for various styles of worship and related flexibility.
• Provision of worship as needed for other church events, such as: nights of worship, mid-week events, special events and conferences, etc.
• Encourage vibrant corporate response to God through music with a consistency in excellence, creativity, and passion for Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. Sensitivity during services with flexibility to meet worship needs as they arise.
• Provide mentorship, oversight and resources to leadership of Creation Music and Arts Academy, existing youth band and children, youth, and adult productions.
